Ah the 90s, when car makers started leaving the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and thought they might try something new.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

What we have here is 1992 Chevy Lumina van. Along with the Trans Sport, it is probably the second most recognizable MPV of the 90s behind the Dodge Caravan.

The listing details are sparse, but the pictures show a straight looking van with a fairly nice used interior. All can be yours for $695.

So Oppo, nice price or crack pipe?

The DustBuster is on my list of vehicles I'll likely own for a short period, get bored with, and resell.

We had a teal over grey '94 growing up. These vans were known for reliability issues, but we got pretty lucky. I only recall it breaking down once due to a bad alternator at about 6 or 7 years old, and there was also an issue with the wipers occasionally deciding to stop working that the dealer could never solve, otherwise we were pretty lucky. It's not a great car by any stretch, but $700 for a running vehicle in decent condition isn't really going to hurt you.

Maybe NP just for the nostalgia since my parents bought one of these new in the mid-90's. It was a total piece of shit then (numerous transmission failures and interior rattles/squeaks) and I doubt it'd be any better now, but to a five-year-old the thing was a damn spaceship.

My cousin's family had the opposite issue with their APV: at one point the windshield wipers failed in such a way that they wouldn't turn off.

Incidentally, that was the last GM product my uncle ever bought.

The Lumina APV marked my parents' return to domestic cars after a run of Horizon-Tempo-Caprice chased them to Subaru. Fortunately, aside from that one electrical glitch, it was pretty reliable, so it sort of redeemed American cars for them. Granted, the bar had been set pretty low.

Awesome tow vehicles if it had the 3.8 motor. Towed a race car about 40,000 miles in one, ran it up to 170,000 mi. Only ever needed a fuel pump and crank sensor(s). One thing I would worry about is the rust underneath. Being a michigan car, that thing could be ready to break in half with rust. My '94 wisconsin one was getting that way and that was 7 years ago.

$695 for a running one with all the tires and brakes, nice price.
